How much does it cost?
Pricing is set at $110 per hour. The length of time it may take to perform the service is based on your hair length, texture and thickness. Phone consultations are available free of charge!
How long does it last?
Brazilian Blowout is a 12 week smoothing treatment. Some may experience longer results on occasion. Please enjoy any extra time but know that this is not a standard that is achievable every visit. Results can vary based on hair texture, condition, aftercare and repeat visit interval time. Repeating the treatment before it reverts completely increases longevity with each service.
Aftercare
It is important to follow aftercare instructions to prolong the life of your treatment. Brazilian Blowout Aftercare products are formulated with the same hydrolyzed keratin and botanical extracts as the treatment, so every time you use them you are refreshing it. Salt water and chlorine will both dramatically shorten the life of your blowout if not take it out completely. They should be avoided for the entire 12 weeks.
How straight will it be?
Brazilian Blowout is not a “straightener,” but it does reduce curl by 60-90%, depending on hair texture and condition. Fluffy, frizzy, wavy hair will become smooth and straight but with a natural look; curly hair will be relaxed to a flatter wave and very curly hair will drop to a softer ringlet. The hair may have a softer, flatter, frizz-free wave (think beachy-sexy), but not be bone-straight when air dried. Blow-out time and effort will be reduced for a smooth, shiny finish that maintains healthy, natural body and bend; you can put your flat-iron into storage!
Is it safe for colored, highlighted or relaxed hair?
Absolutely! In fact, porous hair absorbs more product and holds onto it longer. All chemical services should be done prior to your Brazilian Blowout treatment, or more than 2 weeks after.
Will I be able to curl my hair If I Receive The Brazilian Blowout?
You will still get great bend and memory when blow-drying and/or using a curling iron.
Is it true that I can’t wash my hair for 3 days afterwards?
NO! Brazilian Blowout is the ONLY treatment on the market which is completely finished when you leave the salon; no waiting period before washing, no rules about ponytails and clips.
Is Brazilian Blowout all-natural?
Some stylists would have you believe these treatments are chemical-free and all-natural. Let’s face it: if they were made of rainbows and butterflies, they wouldn’t last beyond a few shampoos. However, the chemicals are gentle and semi-permanent because they lay on the outside of the hair instead of penetrating and changing its structure.
